Do the ATI video cards have a special adapter for DVI to HDMI?
I'm looking at purchasing this video card http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=4348739&sku=D10-4670 to put into a budget computer(home entertainment, movies etc.) Of course I will be hooking it up to an HDMI TV however this video card doesn't seem to come with an adapter for DVI to HDMI. I'm worried about being able to transmit audio via the HDMI so does ATI have a special adapter that I will have to find a buy or can I just use a third party adapter like this one http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=4115635&sku=M501-4000 and still get audio?
Oh and before all you people who say it isn't possible to transmit audio through DVI is impossible, don't even bother to post because it is possible to do it I'm just not sure if ATI uses a special adapter or a regular one.
Here are better cards for the price with the required connectors and adapters.
