Is the HCL Universal USB Power Adapter safe for charging Apple iPod Nano 4G?
I have an apple ipod nano 4g and as everyone knows, there is no power adapter for it (not given with it, but can be bought separately).
i Just bought an HCL USB Power Adapter. it's written that it can be used with USB cable for following devices-
1. digital camera
2. PSP
3 MP3 players
4 PDA
6 Cell Phone
7 MP4 Players
can i use it with my ipod?
the shop seller said that it'll work safely, it's designed for ipod, but there's nothing like that written on the box. i don want to risk my ipod. but the shopkeeper assured. so i just want to confirm it, if anyone uses the same.
on the box of the adapter, it's written-
AC Input: AC 100-240V 50-60 Hz 0.15A
DC Output: 5V---1A
is it safe?
i bought this adapter from Planet M, City Center, Patiala.
As far as I can tell, why not? It obviously supports MP3 players, so it probably does work. Is the iPod not an MP3 player?
That's why I hate all this "Made/Designed for iPod" business. We need less proprietary stuff, and more standardized stuff.
