Ceiling fan installation?
My owners manual says to connect the black and blue wire from the fan to the black wire from the wall, the white wire with the white wire from the wall and then the green to the ground. Well there's a red wire coming from the wall also, what should I connect to that? This house is pre wired for a fan and light.
The red is the switch leg for the light. Connect black to black, red to blue, white to white, and bare copper to green. Hope this helps.
