Digital Cable Video
i-link cable of handycam to transfer digital video? plz suggest something?

one end of i-link cable goes to handycam, but where does the other end is inserted. there is no ports seems where it can be inserted to the back of my cpu.
earlier i burned a dvd by capturing video from handycam via usb streaming but its video-quality drastically fall down.
plz suggest any other way to transfer digital-video.

I assume you have a mini-dv (tape camcorder) the model would have helped.
ay a
If you have ILink (firewire) then you need a firewire card. they are very simple to put in. and not expensive. just go to any computer shop/store and get one.

windows will sort all the drivers out, it will use its own, and then turnurn your camera on and select play (VCR) mode. open say windows movie maker and go to capture, off you go.

There are devices that they say can convert from firewire to don't bother they are rubbish

Good luck
