Will the 2GB ATI 5570 (DVI, HDMI, DP, VGA adapt card work with my Viewsonic VX2255W monitor? What is "DP"?
The HPE-450t PC came with a card that has no VGA output, unlike all the other reviews I've seen, where it shows with one such port. The monitor (VX2255W/VS11661) has an input with the eight trios of pins and a separate slot; the card has a port with the eight trios and a separate pair of pin receptacles. Is there a cable that will match them? Is there a DVI to VGA adapter to suit the monitor? The previous computer's VGA output was completely satisfactory for my purposes (no games, just Photo Shop and word processing).

Yes, the HD5570 should work just fine with the VX2255W monitor. The port on the monitor is a DVI port.
"DP" is DisplayPort. For HD5000-series cards that can run triple monitors, the third monitor must be connected to the card's DisplayPort jack.
