I want to extend my RCA cables for my dvd player....?
I have the Yellow, Red, and White colors for my dvd player. I see couplers that have Red, Green, and Blue.
Will this work?

Or is there a better way?
These are not the same outputs/inputs. Composite video has the red, white and yellow connectors, while component video has the red, blue, and green. The difference is actually quite huge.
Composite cables (R, W, Y) are video and audio cables. The yellow wire carries an analog video signal while the red and white wires carry the left and right stereo audio signals.
Component video cables (R, B, G) are three wires that all carry different parts of a digital video signal. The signal is divided by the sourse component and put back together by your TV or Monitor. This is a higher quality signal than the composite video signal. These two are not compatible.
