Tired eyes at the end of each working day! (anti-glare?)?
Hi, I work around 8-9 hours a day in front of a screen, Apple tfts, so good screens and I turn down the brightness, but I find my eyes just feel tired every day - besides getting a new job, does anyone have any experience in reducing strain on eyes - do the aNti-glare filters work well?
Please bear in mind that I -have- to be on the screen this long, so I'm really after a technical solution.
Ps. I already wear glasses.

fred, the best thing to do at this time is to have a new refraction (test for best visual acuity) done.
this will ensure that you are not over corrected if you're myopic and/or that you are not under corrected if you are farsighted.
also be sure you don't have a convergence insufficiency (the ability of the eyes to turn inward to read)
being over corrected with minus rx or under corrected with plus rx can put some strain on the eyes when reading/computer for long periods of time.
no glare coating on glasses helps a swell.
apply the 20/20 rule.
every twenty minutes, look awary (far point) for twenty seconds.
this tends to help alleviate the ciliary muscle spasm (inside the eye)
