TV Help: What is Right for me?
Right now, i have a rear projection TV from probably 04 or 05. I do not have HD for it cause i feel its not worth it cause the picture sucks anyways. So, i cannot spend more than $1,200. I am looking for a TV no smaller than 42" and no larger than 52". I have an Xbox 360 hooked up down there, which I play often. It is a basement and relatively dark. Mounting it is not a priority. Must be 1080p. I love sports. Now, I am not sure what type/brand to go with. Please suggest the type (DLP, LCD, LCoS, or Plasma) and then the best brand for whatever type suggested. And if all possible a link to the TV suggested.
For gaming I would recommend LCD TV,they are not burn-in and last longer.Samsung is the top brand for LCD TV that I suggest,
Try new Samsung LN46B550 46-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV with Red Touch of Color,a little bit higher than your cost but excellent picture.
