Audio Hook up Help...?
I have dual RCA Male cables that I need to connect to a male mini-stereo cable. Any ideas how to do it? I can't find a mini-stereo gender changer or I'd do it that way. So far the only thing I can think of is getting a gender-changer for the RCAs and then a female mini-stereo to dual male RCA Y cable, but I'm afraid that it won't flow from the RCA to the mini-stereo. What I'm trying to do is connect my PS2's RCA sound output to my two little IPod speakers, which have the male mini-stereo input. Thanks for any help.
Interesting. I looked around at various sites and could find no one that offered a female mini to two male RCA's. Your idea of gender changers for RCA's with a female mini to dual RCA Y-adapter would work. There are other options. Show Me Cables does have a male mini to female mini cable. You could connect that to any of the male mini to two RCA cables available (and there are many). Parts Express sells a female RCA to male RCA cable. You could connect two of those to one of the male mini to two RCA cables.
