What happened to my LCD display while using Microsoft Vista?
Everything seemed fine yesterday (my 1st day using it), but when I rebooted today, the screen was very bright at start up, but it becomes quite dim after I log in. The brightness settings on the monitor itself have not been changed -- I"m guessing it's something in Power Options or another feature in Control Panel??
I really can't remember changing anything last night, and I'm sure it was very bright when I shutdown before going to bed. Any suggestions? Thank you.
Actually, I am positive it's not my eyes. When the system boots up, it is bright and vivid. It prompts me for my login, and after I entered it, the entire display becomes significantly dimmer. I am using an ATI 1650 graphics card.
I think that you are just getting used to the bright light when you boot it up because your pupils aren't dilated. Especially on Microsoft Vista's new bright window panes. When your eyes get accustomed to the light, it seems like it gets darker
