trouble with A/V to 3.5 mm adapter 
?
i bought an adapter earlier today so i could conect the audio cables from my xbox to a set of speakers i own, since my tv only have one speaker and its useless.
what i bought says "1/8th inch (3.5mm) stereo male to Dual RCA (phono) female"
it basically has two holes to put the yellow and white A/V cables, and on the other side a jack that would fit in your ipod, to go into the speakers.
when i plug it in, i ger a really loud, horrible sound and i hate it.
how else can i connect my xbox to speakers?
You should plug in the RED and white, not yellow and white.
Yellow = Composite Video
White = Left Audio
Red = Right Audio
1/8 Inch = Left & Right Audio
