Plasma Hdtv Converter

i have a 42' plasma HDTV will i need a converter box because i don't have cable?

MAYBE you will need one....

The plasma NEEDS to have an ATSC tuner built into it, and if it doesn't, THEN you need an HD Tuner to get the signals after Feb 17, 2009.....Look in your instruction booklet and look at the Tuner's Specifications in the Specification Page. Sometimes the Forward will give that info too.....

NO , you don't want the government box, as that works with LOW DEFINITION TV SETS.....not on your HD TV set.

So, go to Best Buy, Circuit City, or any other large TV store and ask them to show you the HD Terrestrial Recievers for you HD Plasma.....UNLESS you purchased your TV set within the LAST TWO YEARS (they have ATSC built in....)_
