What caused my power adapter to blow?
The power adapter for an advanced battery charger i have blew when i plugged it in. I turned it on and it blew and i could smell the burnt in the air so i knew it didnt work anymore. Got a replacement power adapter, worked for a few days then when i plugged it in it blew again, same thing happened.
What could cause this?
The sticker on the power adapter says:
Model: UT-6026C
0.5A
output: +12V====1A
the volts are ok, this adapter was made for this country. It happened both times when i plugged it in
there could be one reason,
batteries insert in is wrongly placed or batteries might have been go dead, using dead batteries will also result in burn the adapter, or u might bought different Input adapter,
if u might brought right one the why do not u try at the shop were u have purchased, if it working fine in shop, that means it is clean that ur batteries are gone dead, replace with new batteries and try.
