By using host intrusion detection Comodo Can preemptively block malicious software before it even starts up. Comodo is kept current with daily virus update files. PC Tools also has developed a great free antivirus software program called Antivirus Free Edition. PC Tools is well known for their Registry Mechanic and Spyware Doctor products. PC Tools Antivirus also has a paid version that adds faster updates and live support. The free antivirus product from PC Tools is updated frequently and actually protects in real time. PC Tools Antivirus Free Edition performs comprehensive system scanning to make sure your system remains safe and virus free now and in the future. Windows Vista compatibility is not an issue for either of these capable programs.
FREE FIREWALL SOFTWARE DOWNLOADS
Some of the free internet firewalls that were available a few years ago no longer are offered or even supported. The combination of Comodo Firewall and Comodo Antivirus makes an even more interesting free product.

With the wide selection of excellent free antispyware software downloads available you should easily be able to find one or more to protect your computer. Unlike antivirus and firewall products, you can usually use more than one antispyware product to protect your Windows system.
