LCD in a house where no surge protector was used fuse blew, after replacing the fuse it keeps blowing?
I have a 19" Sylvania LCD wide screen hdtv. The model is LC195SL9 B made last year in april. I took it apart and replaced the fuse, but when i pluged it in again the fuse blew, How can i fix this?
The house was hit by lightning.
The fuse is blowing due to excessive current draw. Basically, it's doing it's job. You need to repair the part that's failed and is drawing too much current that's causing the fuse to blow. Your best bet is to take it to a reputable repair shop. Unless you're a knowledgeable electronics technician there's little chance of you repairing the display.
