Which is the better HDTV?

I want to buy a new HDTV but I don't want reflection or have like a mirror as a TV. Which is the one I have to buy? LCD, Plasma, etc??? What Brand?

One of the biggest downfalls of Plasma is the reflection issue. It has a glass pane for a screen, and any sunglight will reflect off it and give you horrible glares. This is why most people recommend LCD for brightly lit rooms with a lot of sunlight. LCDs are also MUCH brigher than plasma, so viewing in sunlight is easier. In the LCD division, Sony rules all. Their picture quality is stunning! Samsung and SHarp come VERY close as well, and will typically cost you a few Hundred $ less than the sony. Check those out! Hope this helps.
