Scratch Remover Lcd

my crt has a lot scratches on top of it how can i fix it, do they sell any thing that can make scratches go?

my crt monitor has a lot scratches on top of it do they sell anything i can use to fix them or can i use car scratch remover like quixx plz any help would help i can buy a lcd but this monitor is a family treasure lol plz help THANK YOU

When you say "scratches on top" it's not clear if you mean the top of the glass (on the front of the monitor) or the top of the enclosure.

If there are scratches on the glass, you might be able to get them made less visible (try "auto glass repair" in the Yellow Pages") but the result will never be as good or as clear as the original. Stop testing your diamond rings on the monitor!

If the scratches are on the case, then you may have luck with a car scratch remover - but again, it will never look like new again. An alternative is to cover the scratches with something like sticky-back "contact paper".
