Canon Powershot SX120 IS Packaging?

Ok, so I just bought this wonderful camera today and I pretty much love everything about it!!!
I wanna learn more about the capabilities of this camera but all I received in the packaging was like a 'Getting Started' mini booklet. It didn't talk about the other options and so on. I started digging through the box and that's it, that's all I found.
My friend also looked at it and asked if I was sure that it was brand new.
If you got this camera, can you remember if the LCD screen had like a screen over it. (I KNOW this does not make sense but come on, you know what I mean.)
like those plastic-y cover shield screen protectors or whatever. I mean some phones have it at first, those things. And was your box sealed in any way.

About the manual - some of the cameras now ship with a scaled down version of the book.
The real manual is often found on a CD that came with it, or you're supposed to download it from the manufacturer's website.

I don't think that little plastic cover means much, and you can look at the numbering on the photos to see if someone has already taken a bunch of photos with it.
If they haven't and you have the full, normal warranty, then I wouldn't worry about it.

Some people have ZERO conscience about returning stuff.... they'll return it because they're having a bad hair day and don't like that particular shade of black on the camera....... nothing wrong with it at all, yet they take it back.
