I cannot get colour when connecting my cable from my laptop to tv, please help!!?
OK, i dcant get sound or colour when connecting the two together (laptop and tv, its a new tv and new laptop)
Ok secondly heres my cable

I have connected it all up and finally recieved the picture although it wasnt perfect, but i have no sound nor colour.
I have the cable above and a HP laptop and wharfdale lcd tv.
On the back of the TV there is a pin socket for the scart lead and also red, white and yellow sockets,
PLEASE CAN ANYONE HELP ME WITH THIS, HOW TO CONNECT MY LAPTOP TO TV WITH COLOUR AND SOUND, OH YEAH I DONT HAVE SOUND. HAHA, GREAT!!

the first cable S-video/2rca to Scart is ok, but the second adapter is wrong.

connect the headphone output of the laptop with the 2rca of the Scart cable.
concerning the color: plug in and out the Scart plug repeatedly and also try to plug in NOT fully. i already encountered another case with the same issue (no color with Scart). try also to plug the Scart fully on one side whilst on the other it isn't fully plugged in or vice versa.
