Anyone knows how to connect a Samsung monitor to a PC harddrive?
I've check all the cables (they go in the right colour) - but the monitor seems to be in stand-by?

It is plugged in; the video-cable securely plugged in; the power light is flashing.
When the PC is on I can hear I'm connected to Skype but the monitor still remains black. It used to work perfectly until I've moved the PC.
Since the indicator light is flashing like that, it could be an internal power supply issue (bad components or solder joints), bad cables, connections or video card. Make sure the power cord is fully plugged in at both ends properly (make sure to push hard as I've seen some that were almost plugged in and felt tight, but just weren't really plugged in still) and the video cable is secured properly (which you've said you already did). Since you moved the computer, the video card may have come loose (if it's one that plugs into the main computer board) and needs to be reseated.
If all that checks OK, then it may be time for a new monitor. Sometimes they just fail like that. A new one may be (most likely) cheaper than trying to repair the old one, or find a used one at a good price somewhere. Try a known working monitor on your computer first to try isolating where the problem may be.
