How to connect Toshiba Satellite A55-S1063 laptop to a regular monitor?
My laptop got knocked down and the sceen was damaged. I NEED a particular program on this laptop and tried to connect it to a regular monitor hoping that i would still be able to use it. Windows starts up just fine (the windows song play during start up and im able to shut down) but i cant see anything on the laptop screen but different colored lines. How can i switch the display to the monitor without having to look at the laptop display.
Check your Function keys from F1 to F12 to see which one has a picture of a tv on the button.
Connect your laptop via a vga cable to your external monitor and hold down the Fn key located bottom left of your keyboard and press the Function Key with the tv on the button.
