Vga Monitor Sharing
What is needed to set up TV as my desktop monitor?

My current set up:
-2 separate towers (desktops) that share 1 monitor, Belkin wireless router, and DSL modem in our spare bedroom.
-1 laptop used in living room
-1 50" Samsung TV in living room with VGA port in living room

I would like to be able to hook up one of the desktop computers so that I can use a wireless keyboard and mouse in the living room with our TV as the monitor (while being able to switch back and forth from monitor to TV seamlessly). I want to be sure, however, that my husband can also use the laptop at the same time.

Does one of the desktop towers need to be moved to the living room in order to achieve this? If so, will we need to have a cable running from it in the living room all the way to our spare room to connect to the router/modem?

What cables and other items will be needed to achieve this?
I would GREATLY appreciate any help/advice on this.

Thanks in advance!

Move the PC to near the TV and connect wirelessley to the router
