Usage Of Flat Panel Computer Monitors
Because of the slim appearance, Liquid Crystal Display or LCD monitors are also called flat panel computer monitors. Although LCD monitors have been in use as early as 1972, they are only now being widely used because of the drop in prices. This does not mean that they are cheaper than their predecessor the Cathode Ray Tube or CRT monitor.
